Today is World AIDS Day. I have been HIV positive for the past six years and it has been an arduous journey to say the least. Yesterday as I was searching through my things, I found a diary from about five years ago. It took me a year to even be able to write it down but when I did, I made a determination that I would still be here for another five years ... and here I am, feeling great.
