Okay, maybe not, but I am EXTREMELY excited about the return of anzidesign.com, the website where I can revel in hours and hours of fun and unapologetic self-gratif... er, self-promotion! YAY!
I'd been thinking about doing this for a while, mainly to get my resume online, but funds have been REAL tight lately, so yesterday I searched for some cheap domain registrars and web hosting providers. I registered my domain with GoDaddy.com, which I've known about for a while now. My search suggested that no one could beat Go Daddy's rockbottom price of $8.95/year, with discounts if you register for additional years. And although there WERE cheaper web hosting providers than Only2dollars.com, none of them have sparkling testimonies from their customers or free 7-day trial periods. You heard right, I paid $0 up front - all I had to do was point my domain's name servers to them - but I am definitely going to stay with them for a while. Chile, their Standard package might only be $2/month, but you get 50 MB of space, an e-mail box, unlimited traffic, speedy reliable servers and more! [NEWS FLASH: I just got a note from them. Under the Standard package, I can only have anzidesign@anzidesign.com - and I want donald@anzidesign.com so I can use the thousands of business cards that I already have with that e-mail address on it. Guess I'll have to upgrade to their $5/month Premium package ...] So what if they're hosted in Istanbul, Turkey - when's the last time you visited AOL? If you sign up with them, tell them that I sent you so I can get my cut (a free month of hosting), aight?
Anyway, right now there's only an e-mail link (while I tend to my other projects) but it will feature a portfolio of my work, my resume and other stuff about me - eventually, maybe even this blog. It IS all about me - I'm convinced! Ooooo, I just have to touch myself!
