Onward With Movable Type

I'm afraid my Blogger days are over ... This blog is now powered by Movable Type 2.21, the fantastically powerful Content Management System that you install on your own server. I see that I'm going to be playing with this for a while - I was up ALL NIGHT FREAKIN' WEEKEND! It's easy to install, but I'm SUCH a perfectionist!

And now I can do things like refer to archived posts (like my hair post) and my similarly-equipped friends' posts (like George's post about Black memory, good buddies EJ & Mike *HUG!* and future friend Cecily's take on a white Canadian female journalist's 'Epiphany of Color' *groan*). Also, readers of my blog can now bootleg (e-mail) my posts, holla (add their comments) and see who has snatch my crumbs (link their site to a specific post on my blog). Ben and Mena Trott is the husband and wife team behind this beautiful collection of software - they've done a phenomenal job! I can't wait to give them some money!

To test the new TrackBack feature, I'm posting a simple recipe - a wonderful side dish that's extremely easy to make.

Sesame Cabbage Salad

1 cabbage head
1 tablespoon olive oil
2-3 teaspoons sesame seeds

Chop the cabbage into very thin strips. Heat olive oil in a medium-weight saute pan over a medium flame; add sesame seeds evenly. Allow the seeds to brown A LITTLE, then gradually add the chopped cabbage. Saute for about 10 or 15 minutes and remove from heat. Serve immediately.

This recipe yields about 4-6 servings.

It’s about time!

Alrighty then! This month is like the Spanish Inquisition. You, Jason , and who knows else are converts! (Voice of Mandar from Dexter’s Lab) Ah ha ha! MT will take over the world!! LOL

I’m soooo jealous! I gotta make the move one of these days. Of course, I’ll probably have you walk me thru it [more like do it for me].

Hey guys, thanks for blessing my spot with your presence.
