Last Train to Hartsfield

I sure have enjoyed this trip and am sad to see it come to a close. Good buddy (and Adodi Muse founder) Malik Williams is giving me a ride to Hartsfield Airport this morning after I check out of the luxurious domicile of the last week.

I went to Decatur yesterday to be tawdry. It was largely unfulfilling. However, I DID run into Leonard (a.k.a. Sebastian) at the Avondale station on the way home. Everything happens for a reason. It was truly one of those moments when you know someone's trying to tell you something, and I'm going to listen. He's even nicer in person! We rode together until Five Points, where I went Northbound to Peachtree Center and he went Southbound. I hope that we meet again.

So, I'm here blogging for a bit. Soon after, I'll hightail it over to Chick-fil-a for breakfast and dash back to the hotel to wait for Malik. I have so much work to do when I get back, but this trip has been the refreshment I needed and so longed for. I want to be able to do stuff like this without batting an eyelash and that day is coming soon.

I also know that I want a husband. Now more than ever. Now, the transient sex that I have just to get a nut reminds me of that every single time. And seeing close friends like Darrell find true love and being invited to the homes of couples like Jeanvier (sp?) & Harry and Eric & Mike make me yearn that much more. I know there's probably nothing I can do about it, except continue to live well and further my pursuits of success and progress. And to try and not be sad about it.

“However, I DID run into Leonard (a.k.a. Sebastian)” Everything happens for a reason, indeed!

the husband will come. all you gotta do is center yourself on it. that’s how that soul mate shit is supposed to work anyway. it’s like thinking about it, without thinking about it. kind of like a creative visualization technique.

oh donald, there’s a husbund waitin’ for us each. We just gotta be patient; though i wish i could always follow my own advice.
