I'm on Jazz @ Lincoln Center's mailing list and I get stuff all the time that I end up ignoring for one reason or another. I almost threw the last one away, but I noticed that Miss Nancy Wilson will be performing with strings in January!
*sigh!* *swoon!* How romantic!
Who knows - maybe I'll be in love by then ... ? (And maybe he'll become so acquainted with my blog that he'll get the hint without my influence. *wink!*) I imagine us pulling up to Alice Tully Hall after a wonderful dinner at Ollie's, wearing casual elegance and opulent romance. I imagine him squeezing my hand gently as Miss Nancy serenades us into the night, surrounding us with the lush rustling of violins, violas, cellos ...
*swoon!* Ah, the best is yet to come ...
Give me the sun, I'll give you the moonlight - love will set us free. If we just believe the best is yet to come. Show me your smile, I'll fill it with laughter that will light your mind. As long as we believe the best is yet to come. Can you see what I see on the road ahead?
Do you know there's a new life there - waiting there?Give me the world and I'll give you heaven - love will set us free.
As long as we believe the best is yet to come.
Show me your smile, I'll fill it with laughter that will light your mind.
As long as we believe the best is yet to come ...

Incurable!
Hey I want to see Miss Nancy. Why you gotta wait to be in love. I think she is one of the most beautiful people in the world. Physically, spiritually, and vocally. Anyway, if you ain’t in love by then, I’ll go as your date.
I say if your not in love by January — You need to take Lynne up on her offer.
Her album covers were just so gorgeous. I saw her at the blue note a few years back and she is so knock-you-off-your-feet beautiful. She puts that smooth and elegant delivery to work for the audience.
