I recently saw Candice Bergen on NBC's Today Show. She spoke about the upcoming 150th Anniversary of Central Park and mentioned their official website. Why is there no mention of Seneca Village (here's a good article) in the 'history' presented on Central Park's official site? Ask them yourself!
Update - 5/5:
Dear Mr. Agarrat:
The history of Central Park from 1800-1858 was written some time ago by several people who are no longer with the Conservancy. We will include Seneca Village when we have a chance to update it.
However, there are several references to Seneca Village in other sections of this site. Please click on: http://www.centralparknyc.org/search/
Thank you for your interest in Central Park.

I didn’t see the piece after promising myself that I would watch to see if Seneca Village was mentioned. I am not surprised. Especially with that somewhat canned reply to your inquiry.
If enough of us write in, maybe we’ll effect some change like the recent campaign against that neo-conservative on MSNBC after Kiss-FM’s show of support for Danny Glover.
