A URL (short for Uniform Resource Locator) is the global address of a particular document on the Web. It shows up in most browsers in the status bar at the bottom of your window. A URL usually points to the front page (or index) of a site, but it could also point to a particular directory or another page. Also, URLs can point to many different types of documents like plain text files, Word documents, PDFs, MP3s and Quicktime movie files, to name a few.
Glad to see some good news. Hope there’ll be lots more soon.
