"And she's gone
Summer's gone
Taking with her summer's play ..."
"Sad to see
A new horizon slowly coming into view ..."
I've had a great summer! Life is really good and my friends are such a big part of that. Two of my closest friends are at different places in the country now, but they are never too far. (Okay, I'm overdosing on Glitter ...)
I'm unemployed again, but even that is good. It gives me more time to commit to my home improvement project, which still trudging forward a month later. I bought an orbital sander yesterday from Manhattan's new Home Depot and tried it out as soon as I got home. *butch pose!*
Last night someone asked "Why are you spending so much time and effort on a rental?" Sometimes I ask myself the same question, especially when considering that I'm investing in someone else's property - but it's all good. I do make a conscious effort to minimize the money I spend on stuff that's not leaving with me when I go. My rent is cheap and I love where I live, so I plan to stay here until I can buy something myself. Whenever that is. So, why not live in a cute place until then?
Besides, it's probably a whole lot nicer running a business from a beautiful home. And there'll be some changes made up in here, too ...

Donald: It was great seeing you this past summer. Thanks for the mem’ries!Good luck with the home improvement project! Yes, a new horizon, and new experiences, await us all!
