I think I am afraid of an 80 GB iPod. I’m really not sure why.

Maybe the $20,000 it would cost to fill it up with music from iTunes Music Store?

I have similar expectations, but I think any flash-based iPod would probably be more than $99. Probably AT LEAST $149. I also don’t see 25- & 50-gig iPods. Everything else you mentioned regarding iPods should fall in that range.

iBooks and PowerBooks will see speed bumps. As will desktops, including the iMac.

And despite my rational nature, I expect rumors of a monitor-less, bargain Mac desktop to be true. Of course, there’s no way Steve’ll introduce anything under $500. I suspect it’ll be $699+ and that’ll cause Apple’s stock to fall at least 5% until the MacWeirdos give it an honest, fair assessment (ie. remember the iPod Mini introduction one year ago = it’s been an amazing success despite the initial hatred for the cute li’l thang.).

I ain’t buying nothing from Apple tho! ;-)

I feel an iPod in my future after I get my HI-MD (mini-disc)player.
