Poem On Your Blog Weekend

Hey, it's not too late to put a poem on your blog! This one's dedicated to Brad Michael Hunter. I wish I had the chance to get to know him better ...

In the darkness, fuck me now

by Adrian Stanford

In the darkness, fuck me now.
speak not, for the rustling of white linen
will make music,
and the occasional zooming of cars
below, will add to the rhapsody
and as silence, deep and pregnant, settles
in our ears (taking us beyond lust's ocean roar),
we will drift on our minds' eternal sea.
falling stars will be our witness. the wetness
of my loins proclaims the rite.
i am pinioned in your arms. silent, and hard breathing.
each breathing creating galaxies; where unnamed
children call me god—
and shout in their private gloom, as I do:
fuck me now.
