Um, okay… I sound like a dweeb. Thanks for the “exposure”, Donald. And don’t come back to Atlanta without your camera!
So it took a natural disaster for me to appear on The Anzi Show? And I didn’t even get the whole damn show to myself! What kind of sh …oh nevermind. (Well, maybe I should be grateful. It took Ka—I can’t even write the rest of that wreckful bitch’s name—for alot of things to happen for me, most of which have been nothing short of wonderful. I’ll save the details for another blog—mine!)
Thank you Donald, and all your beautiful Friends who you told about me (I’ll name names on “darrelldiggins.com” soon.). You all stood in the gaps for me. And I am grateful.
Now let me read you, “Goldilocks.” You must’ve manipulated my voice during that unauthorized recording at Truett’s Grill. You know I have much more bass (Yes, I said “bass!”) in my voice than what I heard on your podcast. Or was I really that excited to see you? Or was it because I was eating chicken & biscuits and grits and egg—a hot breakfast, the first of which I hadn’t had in weeks?
…You know, I like your podcast? Especially when you’re talking. (It sounds like you’re about to make love to that microphone, or something. The music? Hmmm… I don’t recall a song being dedicated to me (*hand cupping ear*). Or was the song intended for me, Sade’s “Keep Looking”? If so, I guess that’s a pretty good choice. I do have a life to rebuild. Thank God for that.
A big Texas hug. Thanks for the podcast and keep ‘em coming.
Can’t wait to see you (and hopefully others!) on Sunday, Oct 2nd. After all this mess and a f*cked summer, I need it badly.
cool podcast.
